Description:
Erythromycin-200 WSP is a macrolide antibiotic indicated for the treatment of infectious diseases due to erythromycin-sensitive bacteria and Mycoplasma in poultry. Erythromycin binds reversibly to the 50s subunit of ribosomes, resulting in the blockage of transpeptidation or translocation reactions, leading to impaired and/or inhibited protein synthesis and, hence, to inhibited cell growth.
Indications:
Erythro-200 WSP is indicated for the treatment of Chronic Respiratory Disease (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma infections and for the treatment of infections (respiratory) diseases due to
Erythromycin-sensitive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus (e.g. infectious arthritis), Haemophilus paragallinarum (e.g. infectious coryza) and Pasteurella multocida (e.g. pasteurellosis; pneumonia) in poultry.
Contra-indications:
Hypersensitivity to erythromycin.
Administration to animals with a seriously impaired liver and/or renal function.
Concurrent administration of tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.
Side effects:
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Dosage:
For oral administration.
Poultry: 100g per 200 litre drinking water for 3-5 days.
Withdrawal times:
-For meat: 3 days.
-For eggs: 6 days.
Storage:
Dark and dry at room temperature(15-25℃)
Packing:
Sachet of 100 gram, and jar of 500 or 1000 gram.
